ASHLAND — The Highlands Museum and Discovery Center is excited to present this year’s Highlands Kids Fest, set for noon-4 p.m. Saturday at the museum, which is sure to entertain the whole family.

The event will feature kid-friendly vendors and activities, as well as performances by Des Coveries Wild Animal Shows, magician Gary Boothe, Ronald McDonald and many more. Special guests will be Spiderman and Captain Jack Sparrow.

Admission to Kids Fest is $5 per person. Museum members and children two years of age or under are free. The event will take place in the recently opened Highlands Center, located on the fourth floor.

The Community Trust Parking Garage, located behind the museum, will be open for the event. Guests can enter Kids Fest through the walkway that connects the garage to the museum. For more information, contact the museum at 606-329-8888.
