For those looking for a dog gone good time on Saturday, the second annual “Dress Up Your Dog” contest will be at 11 a.m. at the Ironton Farmers Market. Before the contest starts up, Ironton In Bloom will be serving up free hot dogs at 10 a.m.

The market is starting to get local and homegrown produce. Some of the vendors have been selling out early, so don’t miss out.

The market opens at 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and closes at 3 p.m. or when goods are sold out.
