Jo Hannah Carter

Jo Hannah Carter, 66, lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Born in Ashland to James H. and Carrie Allene Hutchinson, Jo Hannah was one of six children. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Anna Lee.
Jo Hannah was married to Grover C. Carter, of Ironton, and is the mother of four, son, Jason Carter; daughters, Jamie Grunner and Christina Johnson; and stepdaughter, Fonda Carter. She is the loving and proud mamaw of eight grandchildren, Trevor and Natalie Carter, Jason, Joshua, Jacob, and Jordan Grunner, Siera Johnson and Tanner Patrick.
Known for her generosity and compassion, she leaves behind a large group of broken-hearted family and friends.
Services will be held at Lazear Funeral Home, Ashland, Kentucky. Family will greet friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery. The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the staff at Hospice Care Center. Their wonderful care and treatment of our mom will never be forgotten.

Ricky Lewis

Ricky Allen Lewis, 64, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Russell, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Vickie, of Louisville, Kentucky. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods, Kentucky. Walter Morrison

Walter Jackson “Mike” Morrison, 93, of South Point, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the VA Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hewlett Morrison. Memorial service will noon Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with his nephews, Ronnie Webb and Ronnie Brown officiating. Connie Rowe

Connie L. Rowe, 69, of Proctorville, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at home. She is survived by her husband, Carlos Rowe. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
