This week has been Teacher Appreciation Week nationwide, and it is important that we show gratitude for all our teachers do to help shape our children’s lives.

Our educators should never feel that their work is undervalued, and that should simply never be the case.

We should always be sure to thank our teachers for the work they do and the positive impact they have on our children.

Teachers throughout Lawrence County have worked with thousands of our young people who now lead their communities, as well as those who will be our leaders in the future.

Ultimately, we should always measure the teachers’ success by the impact they have each day, while ensuring their efforts do not go overlooked.
