Corrina Moore
April 12, 1936- April 19, 2017
Corrina “Connie” Moore, 81, of Coal Grove, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Connie was born in Lawrence County, on April 12, 1936 to the late John L. and Marjorie (Keeton) Hackworth of Pedro.
She attended Pedro Schools. Connie was an employee for several years at Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton, where she worked as a nursing assistant. She was a member of Jeffersonville Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Fred L. Moore, son Fred L. (Freddie) Moore, Jr., a brother Larry David Hackworth and a special friend, Tom Ball.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Brent Houck of Ironton, Ohio; three sisters Faye (Harold) Woodrum of Conover, Phyllis Friend of Pedro, Carol Freeman of South Point; two brothers: Johnny (Cecilia) Hackworth of Ashland, Kenny Hackworth of Christianburg, several nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers, Kendra Goad and Yvonne Sturgill.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Tuesday, noon until time of the service at the funeral home.

Denise Ison
Denise R. Meadows Ison, 48, of Hanging Rock, born in Columbus, on February 7, 1969. She is survived by her father, Clayton J. (Freda) Meadows of Ironton; mother, Darlene Meadows of Hanging Rock; brother, Clayton J. (Lisa) Meadows of Flatwoods; sisters, Sherry (Barry) Hazelton of Trinity, North Carolina, and Treva (Robert) Morning of Thomasville, North Carolina; grandfather, Earl Thomas of South Point; aunt, C.J. Meadows of Flatwoods, Kentucky; special aunt, Robin of Huntington. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Edna Thomas; grandfather, Clayton J. Meadows, Sr.; and aunts, Judy Munro and Una Jordon. She graduated from Dawson Bryant High School in 1992. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, by Brother James Cremeans. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.

Ronald Carter
Ronald Carter, 66, of Proctorville, died Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. He is survived by his wife Patricia Ward Carter.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Locust Grove Cemetery Willow Wood by Pastor John Carter.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville.

Melissa Nance
Melissa Dawn Nance, 48, of Flatwoods, died on Monday, April 10, 2017 at her residence.
A memorial service will held at 6 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Shawnee Church of God in Flatwoods, with Pastor Jim Stamper officiating. Burial will be at Bentley Cemetery in Carter County.

Classie Marie Sturkey Eanes, 37, of Huntington, died Sunday April 16, 2017 at home. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at 16th Street Baptist Church in Huntington, with Bishop Samuel Moore officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Darrell Eugene Cremeans, 77, of Crown City, died Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. He is survived by his wife Judy Cremeans.
