Philip O. Roseberry

Philip O. Roseberry, 87, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born Sept. 10, 1923, the son of the late Stanley James and Elsie Beatrice Riggles Roseberry. He is survived by his wife, Ollie Lee Campbell Roseberry, who he married Oct. 12, 1946.

Mr. Roseberry was a graduate of Ironton High School and a U.S. Army WWII veteran.

He was a former plant comptroller with the Ironton Coke Plant and a life member of the First Baptist Church in Ironton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Stanley Roseberry and Howard Burton Roseberry.

In addition to is wife, he is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Jan Roseberry of Westerville; daughter and son in-law, Jill and Kenneth R. Dean Jr. of Ironton; four grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Meredith Dean of Lewis Center; Jana and Phil Isgett of Raceland, Ky., Philip Roseberry and Madeline Roseberry, both of Westerville; five great grandchildren, Riley, Ainsley, and Skylar Dean, Johnathan and Lacey Isgett; niece and her husband, Penny and Ralph Seward of Norwalk; and sister-in-law, Alyce Roseberry of Ashland, Ky.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Strawn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery with military graveside rites performed by the VFW Post 8850. Friends may call Saturday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
