Will feature author Jennifer Miller

Local author Jennifer Miller will be signing copies of her two books from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Consigned Books in Ironton.

Miller, of Ironton, is the author of “The Water Skippers” and “A Dragonfly’s Whisper,” both self-published books that are based on local myths and legends.

“The best part about writing is that you can believe in dragons, unicorns and multi-colored kitty cats because it’s your imagination,” she said. “That’s what makes all of us unique.”

The first 15 people who buy the set of books at the Saturday signing will receive a free dragonfly bracelet. There will also be a raffle and refreshments at the event.

Consigned Books is located at 221 S. Third St. in Ironton.
