Future political campaign cited as reason

COAL GROVE –– Coal Grove Councilman Randy Wise resigned from the village council at a meeting Tuesday evening.

The council unanimously elected Bernard T. McKnight to replace Wise, and McKnight was also sworn in at the meeting.

Wise stated that the reason for his resignation was to focus on running for an Upper Township Trustee seat next year.
