Passport winners to be announced

The first of three Christmas concerts, sponsored by Ironton aLive, is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ironton City Center, and will feature the choir of Campbell Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

The choir will sing Christmas carols and hot chocolate and cookies will be served, along with Mrs. Claus handing out candy canes.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., the drawing for the Small Business Saturday Passport contest will take place and the winners will be announced.

First place will receive $300 in Ironton Bucks, which can be used at various downtown Ironton businesses, second place $200 in Ironton Bucks and third place $125 in Ironton Bucks.

The following two Saturdays will feature the Sharon Baptist Church choir at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and either the Mount Olive Baptist Church choir or the Community Choir at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Ironton City Center.
