Ironton is home to the newest Tudor’s Biscuit World location, which is set to be up and running by the end of December.
“This is our 79th Tudor’s Biscuit World. We’re headquartered in Nitro, West Virginia, and have locations in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky and Florida,” Oshel Craigo, CEO of Tudor’s, said. “It’s all about function and having a product that is acceptable in a geographic area.”
Craigo said that Tudor’s Biscuit World locations in Ashland, Kentucky, and New Boston have done extremely well, so he expects the Ironton location to succeed as well.
“Our product is accepted very well in both areas, so we wanted a location in between,” he said.
He added that the main demographic of Tudor’s are ages 34-100, and that the older people get, the more they enjoy the comfort food Tudor’s offers, the price and overall quality of the product.
“I believe Ironton is a retirement community and I think it will bode well for this area,” Craigo said. “We’re looking forward to being there.”
The Ironton Tudor’s Biscuit World is located on Park Avenue across from Dickess Auto Repair and has a goal opening date of the last week of December.
