CG girls top Fairland in volleyball

COAL GROVE — The Coal Grove Lady Hornets added to their win total on Thursday.

The Lady Hornets beat the Fairland Lady Dragons in an Ohio Valley Conference volleyball game in four sets.

Coal Grove won 25-18, 22-25, 25-15 and 25-22.

Briana Stumbo had eight kills and Emily Compliment seven kills to pace the Lady Hornets.

Skylar Morrison had 16 points while Kasey Murphy got six ace serves.

Coal Grove visits South Point on Tuesday.
