WILLOW WOOD — The Southern Ohio Conference schedule began and the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings made quite a beginning.

The Lady Vikings swept the Green Lady Bobcats in their first SOC volleyball match of the season, 25-13, 25-12, 25-4.

Kinley Patterson racked up 25 points for the Lady Vikings including six aces. Taylor Webb had seven kills and four blocks while Sierra Ross had eight setting assists.

Symmes Valley hosts Beaver Eastern at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in an SOC match.
