COAL GROVE — The annual Coal Grove Betterment Club Family Fun Days are a week away and the weekend entertainment line-up is set.

The event will take over Paul Porter Park July 1-3 and, along with the live entertainment each day, will feature a wide variety of food, crafters, vendors, games, inflatables and more. The popular cake and pie auction will be 5-6 p.m. Sunday, July 3 and also on Sunday, a fireworks display will cap off the weekend beginning at 10 p.m.

Family Fun Days serve as a primary fundraiser for the Coal Grove Betterment Club, which focuses on village beautification and other projects such as the Paul Porter Park Christmas display, flowerpot decorations and scholarships.

The weekend entertainment schedule is as follows:

Friday, July 1

• 4-4:15 p.m. Opening ceremony by VFW Post 8850 and Coal Grove Mayor Larry McDaniel
