HUNTINGTON — Hospice of Huntington will offer a chance for Tri-State residents to honor departed friends and family members during the holidays.
Hospice will put up Light a Life trees in each county, beginning Nov. 30. By making a donation of any amount to hospice, community members can get a candle with a name on the tree for a loved one.
Trees in Lawrence County will go up at the courthouse in Ironton and at City National Bank in Proctorville, Bryan Gilpin, director of communications for Hospice, said.
A tree lighting ceremony will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington at 3100 Staunton Road.
