Rockslide closes roadways near 17th Street Bridge

Exit ramps were reopened this morning following a rockslide Wednesday night.

The rockslide caused the closure of the ramps to and from U.S. 52 West at the 17th Street/West Huntington (West Virginia) Bridge.

Traffic from the 17th Street Bridge to U.S. 52 West was detoured on State Route 7 East and the Buffalo Creek intersection back to U.S. 52 West. Westbound U.S. 52 traffic to the 17th Street Bridge was detoured on U.S. 52 West at the Charley Creek Road intersection and U.S. 52 East.
