The Ironton Little League will conduct its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Sunday at the field.

Raffle offers tix

for OSU-Indiana

The Ironton High School junior class is conducting a benefit raffle for two tickets to the Indiana at Ohio State football game Saturday, Oct. 9.

Ticket donations are $5 each and can be purchased from any junior class member, advisor Linda Gagai, or prior to the home football game Friday.

SVLL basketball

plans registration

The Symmes Valley youth basketball league will conduct registration for youths in grades K-6.

Registration will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the football field and from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.

Grades K-1 will play in an instructional league. Youths must be 5-years old by Oct. 10. A team placement and parent meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3. At least one parent or legal guardian must attend.

Tryouts dates for grades 2-6 will be announced pending the end of the football season.

Fee is $20 for the first child and $15 for each additional sibling.
