Petty theft — 40 block Township Road 1032, South Point, June 20, lawn mower taken from yard.

Theft — Tractor Supply, South Point, June 18, riding lawn mower taken.

Theft — 100 block Township Road 1088, Proctorville, June 19, handgun taken from car.

Burglary — 40 block Township Road 99, South Point, June 20, pills, jewelry and shotgun taken from home.

Assault — 14000 block State Route 7, Proctorville, June 22, man allegedly walking up and down street trying to fight people; allegedly punched a woman in the arm; William Holley, 22, of 14611 State Route 7, Proctorville, arrested.

Unlawful possession of dangerous ordinance, using weapons while intoxicated — June 19, woman reported her boyfriend allegedly took 70 pills, set his car on fire and threatened to shoot himself; when deputies arrived, the car was on fire and the man had a sawed off shotgun to his chin; taken into custody without incident and taken to King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Domestic violence — 10000 block County Road 1, Chesapeake, June 18, woman alleged her father struck her in the legs with an open hand; Kevin Bowers, of the same address, arrested.

Theft — 80 block Township Road 1086, South Point, June 15, woman paid $2,000 through a money gram, which turned out to the an IRS scam.

Petty theft — 70 block township Road 1206, Proctorville, June 14, weed eater and two push mowers taken.
