FRANKLIN BOYLE

Franklin D. Boyle, 71, of South Point, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
He was born Jan.15, 1937, the son of the late Harry and Rose Goldcamp Boyle. He was a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Ironton and was presented the Father Glockner Athletic Award. He was also a retired timekeeper for Ironton Iron.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ilene Boyle; one sister, Margaret Goldcamp; and three brothers, Harry Dean Boyle, Jim Boyle, and Ralph Boyle.
His survivors include three sons, David Boyle, of Hamilton, Ont., Tom Boyle, of Ironton, and John Boyle, of Peabody, Mass.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Angela and Stephen Mayo, of Ironton, and Christine Boyle, of Canton; two sisters, Alfreda Graf and Mary Boyle, of Kettering; 12 grandchildren, David Boyle, Casey Mayo, Lucas Mayo, Tanya Boyle, Thomas Boyle, Sharon Boyle, Rhonda Boyle, Cherl Boyle, Johnathon Boyle, Robert Thompson, Michael Thompson and Kenneth Pasqualucci.
Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at O’Keefe Baker Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at the Knights of Columbus in Ironton after the funeral.
