Sue Carol Holliday Terry, 67, of Ashland, passed away of pancreatic cancer, Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at the Community Hospice Care Center.
The Ironton, Ohio native was born June 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph Ray and Myrtle Marie Miller Holliday. She is survived by her husband, Stanley R. Terry, whom she married May 13, 1961.
Mrs. Terry was a graduate of Coal Grove High School and a member of the Thirteenth Street Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at Crabbe School in Ashland, Kings’ Daughters and Sons Home and the Paramount Arts Center.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tony Maynard, of Ashland; a daughter and son-in-law, Alissa and Aaron Parker, of Huntington, W.Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Davina Terry of Columbus; her grandchildren, Justin, Ethan, Zoe, and Megan Terry, all of Columbus and Brooke Maynard, of Ashland; and her sisters, Peggy Julian, of Dayton, and Helen Bailey, of South Point.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Parker and Elder Ron Trabandt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Wiles, Aaron Parker, Tony Maynard, Steve Case, Bill Pennington, and Bruce Brown.
