Gerald Lipker, 73 of Ironton, died on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Jo-Lin Health Center.
He was born in Ironton, the son of the late Clarence and Fern Hacker Lipker.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic at Collins Mining Co.
Survivors include one son, Michael L. Lipker, of Ironton; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Bill Lowe, of Portsmouth; and one niece, Vallery Murphy, of Portsmouth.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Cemetery Section F in Coal Grove with the Rev. David Huffman officiating. Visitation will be 9 -10:30 a.m. Thursday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home.
