On Saturday, Dec. 6, your child can have his or her picture taken with Santa Claus for free at a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Ironton Area Kiwanis Club.

The event is 9 a.m.-noon at the old AEP building located at 525 S. Third St. in Ironton.

A $5 per person donation includes Brian’s world famous pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea and milk. Children 2-and-under are free.

Proceeds from Kiwanis fundraising activities help support its local scholarship fund and various other local projects, programs and agencies. The money raised is spent in Ironton and Lawrence Country.

Kiwanis International is a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at time.

The Ironton Area Kiwanis Club meets at noon every Thursday at the Ironton City Center. Prospective members and visitors are always welcome.
