HAYWARD MALONE

COAL GROVE — Hayward N. Malone, 83 of Coal Grove died on Tuesday Feb. 10, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
He was born Dec. 23,1925, the son of the late Hayward Jesse and Aleysa Tipton. He was the husband of the late Alice M. Malone
He served in the U. S. Navy and retired from Armco Steel. He was a member of Jeffersonville Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Meredith and Teresa Malone of Cynthiana, Ky., and Rick and Jerri Malone of South Point; one granddaughter, Kelli Adkins and one great-granddaughter, Sara Hamilton, both of Franklin Furnace.
He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Forest and Auretta Malone and John and Donna Malone, both of Largo, Fla.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Clare Mae Stephenson of Ironton and Carol Jean and Wayne Bryant of Pinegrove; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Malone and Homer (Frank) Malone.
Funeral will be at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home at noon Saturday with Leon Dalton and Roger Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery.
VFW Post 8850 will perform Military rites.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 to 9:00p.m.
