Burglary, domestic violence — 2500 block State Route 243, Ironton, Sept. 24, residence broken into; cell phones, cash, tools and shotgun taken; suspect’s mother told deputies her daughter had planned the break-in and threatened her; Shayla Perkins, 22, of 3341 State Route 243, arrested.
Illegal conveyance of weapons — Chesapeake Middle School, Sept. 23, male student allegedly brought knife to school; juvenile suspended and released to guardian.
Felonious assault, resisting arrest, aggravated trespass and aggravated menacing — 12000 block County Road 4, Pedro, Sept. 24, couple alleged neighbor threatened them; suspect allegedly pointed a gun at deputy; Betty Owens, 80, of 12061 County Road 4, Pedro, arrested.
Passing bad checks — Chesapeake Athletic Boosters, Sept. 21, two checks for $300 and $380 written to boosters from closed account; suspect named.
Criminal damaging — A private drive in South Point, Sept. 23, sugar poured in gas tank.
Theft — 1400 block Township Road 138, Ironton, Sept. 23, speakers and amp taken from vehicle.
