FRANK MCCORMICK

Frank “Butch” McCormick, 60, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky. The Ironton native was born July 1, 1948, the son of the late William B. and Mary Cade McCormick.
Mr. McCormick attended school in Pedro, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: son, William LeRoy McCormick; a sister, Nancy McCormick and three brothers, William McCormick, John McCormick, and George McCormick.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tereica and William Perry of Ironton; a daughter and son-in-law, Madolyn and Robert Miller of Pedro four grandchildren, Robert Miller, Shane McCormick, Blake McCormick, and Harley McCormick; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Mark Chapman of Ironton and Sheila and Terry Francis of Circleville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Barbara McCormick of Rosenburg, Texas and Tom and Cheri McCormick of Rockmart, Ga.; three nephews who helped care for him, Ty Blackstone, David Chapman, and Mark Chapman II and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother George Cade officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery. Friends may call today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net
