Grady Smith

Grady Eugene Smith Jr., 44, of Kitts Hill, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at his residence. The Tampa, Fla., native was born April 15, 1970, to Carol A. Drawdy Fetter, of Kitts Hill, and the late Grady Eugene Smith Sr.

Grady was a graduate of Collins Career Center/Dawson-Bryant High School. He was a laborer for Freeman’s Heating and Cooling and a self-employed tattoo artist. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Smith and Fred Drawdy.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Trinty Baker, of Deering; a son, Zachary Smith; niece, Jennifer Smith, of Kitts Hill; niece, Charlie Drawdy, of Coal Grove; nephew, Fred Drawdy, of Kitts Hill; niece, Jeanette Crissinger, of Kitts Hill; great-niece, Jade Smith, of Kitts Hill; good friend, Shawn Hicks, of Coal Grove; and numerous cousins and friends

James Bloomfield

James Eugene Bloomfield, 57, of South Webster, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at a local health care center. The Marion native was born Aug. 17, 1957, a son of the late Troy and Margie Hutchinson Bloomfield.

James was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was self-employed. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Free Will Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Bloomfield Jr.; and a son, Matthew Bloomfield.

He is survived by son, Nathan Bloomfield, of Pedro; son Travis Bloomfield, of Oak Hill; sister, Linda Gillespie, of Pedro; sister, Debbie Risner, of South Webster; best friend, Jim Sparks, of Oak Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton is assisting the family. Constance Winters

Constance Manaw Curtis Winters, 90, of Proctorville, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville. William Rowe

William A. (Billie) Rowe, 86, of Ironton, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Arrangements pending at O’Keefe Baker Funeral Home.

 

 

Frances Milam

Frances Mahala Milam, 83, of South Point, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Memorial Gardens by Pastor Jay Love. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
