With a new semester underway and a newly appointed dean, “Welcome Back Week” festivities have been ramped up at Ohio University Southern.
The first day of classes began with a student welcome station in the Shafer Courtyard that offered free food and the chance to win prizes by answering trivia questions. On Wednesday students who congregate in the Riffe Center Mains Rotunda could so do and eat free ice cream at an ice cream social.
“We volunteered to serve the ice cream and as a result we get to sell our T-shirts,” Megan Cox, OUS junior and Art Collaborative secretary, said. “A lot of people are buying our shirts in preparation for the costume contest on Thursday.”
