Just as last year the Ironton Farmers Market will temporarily relocate to make room for the 11th annual Rally on the River this week.

The market opens at 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday on the corner of Park Avenue and Fourth Street.

“If you’re coming to Ironton for the Rally, stop at our market across from the courthouse and pick up our fresh produce and homemade products,” Sam Heighton, market manager, said. “Last week our corn fest was a big hit.”

The market will celebrate tomato fest in September where Ironton In Bloom will be at the market giving away free bologna and tomato sandwiches.
