SOUTH POINT — Phyllis C. Stephens Castle, 50, of South Point, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in the Hospice House of Huntington in Huntington, W.Va.
She was born Oct. 21, 1958 in Lawrence County, a daughter of the late Charles and Flossie Allen Stephens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Oywer and Otha Jeffers and Bill Stephens; and three sisters, Dessie Townsend, Sue Adams, and Alice Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband Kevin Castle; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ray and Anita Castle; three sons, Ernie “Junior” (Diane) Salmons of Grayson, Ky., Russell (Geri) Salmons of Hitchins, Ky., and Bobby (Tonya) Hensley of Willow Wood; five grandchildren Joshua, Cody, Haley, Tanner, and Tristan; five sisters, Mary (Larry) Watters of Chesapeake, Patty (Charles) Hardy of Chesapeake, Charlotte (Danny) Townsend of Coal Grove, Donna (Donald) Massie of Ironton, and Nancy Burcham of Willow Wood and one brother, Steve (Barbara) Stephens of Pedro.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Hardy and Pastor Roger Smathers officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens South Point.
