JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Ray Williams, 84, of Jacksonville, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009.
He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Russell, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. and Caroline Williams and siblings, Joe, Roy and Paul Williams and Helen Sanders.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Williams; children, Dennis R. Williams (Nancy), Steve Williams, Linda Winney (Charles), Jean Behrens, Annette Williams, John Williams and Jennifer Seals; several grandchildren, Chris and Cricket Williams, Brad and Michelle Lambert, Laurie Anderson, Cathy Weaver, Tommy Behrens, Jimmy Behrens, Stephanie, Charles and Amy Winney, Tricia Morgan, Tonya Seals and Ronnie Ray Seals; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be at St. Lawrence Church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. A luncheon will follow the burial at St. Joseph’s.
