RICHARD ESTEP

WILLOW WOOD — Richard L. Estep, 74, of Willow Wood died Monday Nov. 2, 2009, at Jo-lin Health Center in Ironton.
He was born July 5, 1935 in Wilgus, the son of the late Grant and Essie Jordan Estep. He was the husband of the late Pauline Freeman Estep died Sept. 28, 2005.
Richard attended Waterloo schools, was a U.S. Army veteran, a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
Richard is survived by two brothers, Alvin Estep of Ironton and Jeff Estep of Willow Wood; three sisters,
Belva McFann of Albany, and Hazel Sheets and Helen Stallard, both of Ironton; two daughters, Pamela Chandler and Fonda Brett, both of Cincinnati; a son, Richard Estep II of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Linnville Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Linnville Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 2761. The body will lie in state one hour before the service at the church.
