November is National Hospice Month and the Sanctuary of Ohio Valley wishes to say thank you to the healthcare professionals and volunteers who work together with patients and families to educate the public about the special services hospice provides to our community.

Hospice services provide a total healthcare approach that provides physical, emotional and spiritual needs to the patient and families facing a terminal illness.

Here at the Sanctuary of Ohio Valley we are proud to be a partner with our local hospice organizations.

Hospice care goes beyond treatment for the physical pain of the terminally ill patients. The hospice team of doctors and hospice professionals help patients and families cope with one of life’s most challenging transitions.

With compassionate and skillful caring, they make life more meaningful for individuals and their families traveling their final journey home.
