JACKSON (AP) – A rock slide that hit a semitrailer has caused a fuel spill and closed eastbound lanes of a U.S. highway in central Ohio.
Ohio Department of Transportation spokeswoman Kathleen Fuller says the slide about 4 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 35 north of Jackson struck caused the fuel to spill across snow and ice.
The department says one lane is expected to be open by late Wednesday afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
