PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club meet Tuesday for their weekly league gathering.

Joyce Lewis prepared homemade refreshments for the hostess duties. A brief business meeting was conducted by chairman Pat Lambert.

Former members Midge Payne and Doris Roberts were welcomed as attending guests and invited others interested who would like to participate and no play a complete nine-hole round of golf.

If former club members or other non-members are interested, please call Payne or Roberts or talk to any club member to give you further information. Others may even attend next week’s meeting that begins at 9:30 a.m.

Members were ground for tee-off on the beautiful, breezy day on the course. Upon completion of the vents, Lewis named the winners: Joyce Fields, Nancy Livingston, Lambert and Barb Holmes who won two events.

Sharon Fox will assume hostess duties next week.
