George Malone

George McClellan Malone; 76, of Pedro was reunited with his wife Ruth in heaven today Tuesday March 19, 2013, with his family at his side.

He was born Feb. 22, 1937, a son of the late Pearlie and Eva Malone.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ruth Malone, a son, Timothy Malone, a brother, Edward Malone , and a sister, Norma Jean Malone.

He is survived by two sons, Stewart Malone and his wife Debbie of Kitts Hill and Gary Malone of Springfield; two daughters, Brenda Myers of South Point and Sherry Bruce of Aurora, Ind.; a brother, William “Billy” Malone and his wife Jo of Springfield; three sisters, Leona Thompson and her husband Charles of Pedro, Doris Cremeans and her husband Gary of Ironton, Kathleen Holston of Ironton, eight grandchildren, Leah Rae, Symadore, Darien, Leslie, David, Kenny, Stephanie, and Marissa. He also leaves to mourn his passing nine great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. March 22, 2013 in the chapel of the Brown Funeral chapel with Pastor Scott Jenkins officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in the Aid Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral chapel. Friends and family may share memories and condolences on the Facebook page for the brown funeral chapel.

Manuel Wilson

Manuel Lee Wilson, 55, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Wilson was a native of Ironton, son of the late Manuel & Gladys Hilgenberg Wilson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was also preceded in death by one brother, James Wilson.

He was a member of New Hope Church of the Brethren. Mr. Wilson was a social worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Amy Lou Swango Wilson of Jonesborough; children, Summer and Jason; one brother, Mike Wilson; three sisters, Wanda Wilson, Gloria Wilson and Sharon Voiers; niece and nephew he raised, Mary Ellen Kline and James Michael Wilson; and several other nephews and nieces.

Memorial service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Baptist Church, Wilgus. Condolences may be sent to the Wilson family online at www.dillow-taylor.com. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Jonesborough, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.

 

 

Richard Hysell

Richard Lee Hysell, 59, of Proctorville, died Tuesday March 19, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was the husband of Teri Ann White Hysell, who survives. Funeral service will be conducted noon Friday at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Dwayne Shugert. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park Huntington, W.Va.
