PINE GROVE — The Coal Grove Hornets knocked off the South Point Pointers in a golf match Wednesday at the Ironton Country Club.

Coal Grove posted a 209-team score to win by four strokes over the South Point Pointers.

Conner Markins shot a 43 to lead the Hornets and take medalist honors.

Cody Davidson was next for the Hornets with a 50, Cameron Rowe shot a 55, Justin Mullens 61 and Jonathan Bollinger finished with a 65.

Wyatt Hall had a 45 to pace South Point. Callie Taylor followed with a 54, Josh Suttles was one shot back at 55, Caleb Jones 59 and Jordan Lynd a 66.
