Fuller continued her standout play as the senior threw in 29 points and had eight rebounds in leading the Chesapeake Lady Panthers over Wheelersburg 70-48 Wednesday night in a Division III sectional game.

Fuller continued her standout play as the senior threw in 29 points and had eight rebounds in leading the Chesapeake Lady Panthers over Wheelersburg 70-48 Wednesday night in a Division III sectional game.
"We wanted to get this first one in, it was a great win for our team," Fuller said. "We were aggressive and played as a team."
Fellow Panther Erin Sutphin added 19 points and six rebounds.
"It was a good win for us, we came out strong and played hard. I was very pleased with our effort," said Chesapeake coach Lynn Sheets.
Wheelersburg was paced by Karrie Thomas with 16 points and Emily Hehl added eight.
Ahead 4-3, Fuller hit a pair of long jumpers and Michelle Elkins scored four points as the Panthers went on a 12-2 run making it 16-5.
A 3-pointer from Ashley Clevenger and a 16-footer from Amy Conn got the Pirates back to within four points at 18-14.
Again the Panthers were ready to go on a run. Jessica Hall hit a pair of short shots and Fuller hit a spinning layup and a 10-footer that put the lead at 30-20 with 15 seconds left in the half.
Chesapeake ran off seven straight early in the third period with Fuller scoring four and Sutphin hitting a layup and a 3-pointer making it 42-26 at the 5:14 mark.
Conn appeared ready to bring the Pirates back single-handedly as she hit three layups and converted a 3-point play making it a 45-37 game.
The Panthers settled the issue for good in the fourth quarter outscoring the Pirates 18-6 midway through the period for a 64-43 lead.
