Chesapeake senior clarinetist Alicia Ellis, left, pins an All-County Band medal to her band uniform as Symmes Valley band member Samantha Myers watches. The two were part of Monday night’s 2000 Lawrence County All-County Band performance in Chesapeake, which hosted the event presented by the Lawrence County Band Directors Association. High school and junior high school band members from every county school district joined in the performance.
