Directions to Ironton’s
Div. IV playoff game
Fans attending the Ironton vs. Johnstown-Monroe Division IV Region 15 semifinal playoff game may take the following route:
Route 93 North to Jackson then 32 East toward Athens. Take the outer belt around Ohio University to Route 33 North toward Columbus. Turn left onto Johnson Road (it is right before the Athens Messenger newspaper building) and go about one mile. The stadium is on the right.
Ironton playoff tickets
to go on sale Tuesday
Postseason playoff tickets for Ironton’s Region 15 Division IV semifinal game against Johnstown-Monroe at Athens High School are on sale through Friday during school hours and at Iron City Hardware during business hours.
Tickets will be on sale until 2 p.m. on Friday. There is no reserve seating. Tickets are $7 in advance and $9 at the gate as set by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
There will be no “pass outs.” If you leave the stadium, you must buy another ticket to re-enter.
Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance. The school receives only a small percentage of the presale. All money at the gate goes to the OHSAA.
Fairland youth wrestling
plan spaghetti dinner
The Fairland Biddy Wrestling League will conduct a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Proctorville Volunteer Fire Department on State Route 7.
Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children. Dinner includes salad, bread and dessert.
All proceeds will go toward the purchase of equipment and uniforms for teams.
