Proctorville fairgrounds caretaker Benny Call puts a piece of trim in place at one of the 4-H animal barn’s hog stalls. Call and volunteers have spent weeks preparing for the July 9-15 Lawrence County Fair, which will showcase 4-H projects and animals as well as give Tri-State residents nightly entertainment. The Lawrence County Fair Board has planned three demolition derbies, a tractor pull and horse pulls. The country band Exile will headline this year’s entertainment.
