Ada Leedy, vice president of the Lawrence County Historical Society, stacks quarts of apple butter in jars at the Lawrence County Museum. The apple butter was homemade in large kettles at the museum as part of a fund-raising project. For more information on the apple butter, which is made from Rome Beauty apples, call the museum at 532-1222 after 1 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The apple butter is available for $6 a quart and $3.50 a pint.
