A 17-year-old female was sent to St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. after a two vehicle accident on State Route 7 just south of Athalia last night at about 11 p.m. According to reports from the Ironton post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Heather Gandee of Crown City, was traveling south on the highway when a northbound vehicle driven by Michael Moore, 23, of Huntington, W.Va. went left of center and struck Gandee’s 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier. Gandee was transported to St. Mary’s by SEOEMS and is listed in stable condition at the hospital. Moore was charged with left of center.
