May 30, 1946-May 15, 2002 BILOXI, Miss. -- Rita L. Sanders, 55, of Biloxi, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, died Wednesday at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky., after a sudden illness.

The Dayton native was the daughter of the late Donald and Marty Roberts Vance.

She was the wife of Donald Jack Sanders, who survives.

She was a housewife.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one daughter, Christl M. Pollard of Biloxi; one granddaughter, Kiersten Pollard of Biloxi; and one sister, Janice Brammer of West Palm Beach, Fla.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sharon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Harvey officiating.
