On Nov. 30, two suspects were allegedly picked up in Ashland, Ky., by taxi cab driver Todd Baden. They allegedly asked him to drive to the Hog Run Road area of Lawrence County. During the drive, one of the suspects allegedly pulled a firearm and demanded that the Baden stop and exit the cab. The suspects allegedly robbed the driver of money and took the cab, which was later found abandoned in Ironton.

According to a newsrelease from the Sheriff's Office, the investigation led deputies to an inmate at the Lawrence County Jail. That inmate, Justin Hager, 22, was incarcerated for a robbery that had taken place in Ironton.

Ironton Police detective Chris Bowman said Hager was arrested for robbing another Ironton resident last week.

Both suspects have appeared before Judge Clark Collins in Ironton Municipal Court. A preliminary hearing for both is scheduled for Thursday.
