McDERMOTT -- The Chesapeake Panthers didn't want to lose another game to the weather. As it turned out, they stormed their way through the Northwest Mohawks.

Bad weather cost the Panthers two games this week, so head coach Norm Persin was happy to finally play Saturday night as Chesapeake routed Northwest 76-54.

"We didn't want to lose both of games this weekend, and with River Valley and Rock Hill coming up we needed to play," Persin said.
