No children or drivers were injured in two accidents involving South Point school buses Tuesday.

At 7:51 a.m. on County Road 58, south of County Road 17 in Fayette Township, Andrea M. McIntyre, 16, of South Point was driving a 1998 Honda CRV southbound and Timothy E. McMaster, 24, of South Point, was driving northbound in a 1999 Blue Bird bus, owned by the South Point Local School District. Sgt. J.P. Kisor of the Ironton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said McMaster was driving left of center and struck McIntyre's vehicle. McIntryre, McMaster and the 48 students McIntryre was transporting to the vocational school were not injured, and the vehicles sustained minor damage, Kisor said. McMaster was cited for driving left of center.

A second accident occurred at 3:05 p.m. on Township Road 109, one and a half miles east of County Road 57 in Perry Township. Gary G. Berry, 48, of South Point was driving eastbound in a Freightliner bus owned by the South Point District, and Patricia C. Thayer, 35, of Chesapeake, was driving behind him. Kisor said Berry stopped and attempted to back into a private driveway to turn around, then struck Thayer's vehicle.
