ASHLAND, Ky. - Some area wrestlers want to body slam Tyler Dietrich's medical expenses.

Tyler is a student at Cannonsburg Elementary who has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

The tumor was removed at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, but that surgery and countless radiation and chemotherapy treatments have followed.

In an effort to help assist in paying some of the medical bills, Nationwide Championship Wrestling, Ohio Championship Wrestling and five other promotions will present "This One's For Tyler" wrestling at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ashland National Guard Armory.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are a $3 donation for general admission and $5 donation for ringside seats. A family four-pack is available for $10 general admission and $15 ringside.

All proceeds including concessions and memorabilia items will be donated to the Tyler Dietrich Fund at Heritage Bank in Ashland. More than 100 items have been donated to raffle off, including 50 items donated by the WWE.

The main event is

30-man, two-ring BattleRumble. Also headlining the event is a Tennessee Grudge Match between Scotty Ace and a mystery partner against Killer Kurt and Eddie Browning.

A title vs. title match has Scotty Powers (OCW champ) against Johnny Noble (NCW champ), a six-man tag match between The Batten Twins and Cuzin Elwood against The Poachers and Vic the Bruiser.

A total of eight matches will be held and include Beau James, XCaliber, DareDevil, Dude Rock, NWA star Andy Douglas, former SMW star Buhdda, and the return of a former NWA world champion.

All wrestlers are donating their time.
