Alleged getaway car driver arraigned in Kentucky

CATLETTSBURG, Ky.-- A Coal Grove man charged with driving the getaway car in an armed robbery in Ashland, Ky., late last month was arraigned Monday in Boyd County District Court in Catlettsburg, Ky.
Boyd County District Judge C. David Hagerman set bond at $50,000 for Michael Bazell, 28. He remains in the Boyd County Detention Center, and will appear in Boyd County District Court Sept. 17 for a preliminary hearing.
The other man charged in connection with the hold up at the Marathon gas station at 18th Street and Winchester Avenue, Joshua Joyce, also remains in jail in Catlettsburg. Joyce will appear in court Friday for a preliminary hearing.
Both men are charged with first-degree armed robbery after they were apprehended in Coal Grove.
