PROCTORVILLE - The Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers took a straight-sets volleyball win over the Fairland Lady Dragons Monday.

Ironton won 15-7, 15-10, led by Mandi Boykin with 13 points and Sarah Cartmell with 11.

Talia Howard and Chelsea Rowland had two points each and Kasey Brislin and Sara Hacker one each.

The Lady Tigers fell in the junior varsity match 8-15, 15-12, 13-15. Shawnt Lewis and Hannah Ray had nine points each, Nikki Harbolt scored eight, Rachel Walker six, Julie Belville two and Jennifer Thornton and Savannah Cameron one each.

Ironton plays at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Coal Grove.
