The smell of maple syrup and buttermilk pancakes will be coming from the AEP (Ohio Power) office at 525 S. Third St. Saturday.

The annual Ironton Rotary Pancake Day will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. During the event, which serves as the club's largest fund-raiser, Ironton Rotarians will be serving pancakes, sausage, coffee and milk. Cost for the meal is $3.50 and proceeds will go toward the Rotary's charitable work.

Last year, the club sold between 500 and 600 meals during the event.

Tickets will be available at the door or can be purchased from any club member in advance. Take-out orders will also be available.
