ONA, W.Va. - The hit parade marched long and often.
The Fairland Lady Dragons erupted for 17 hits en route to a 12-5 spanking of the Spring Valley Lady Timberwolves Monday.
"We just hit the ball good tonight. Everybody who got up hit the ball," Fairland coach Leroy Baise said. "Their (pitcher) had a good changeup. We haven't seen much of that during the regular season. We adjusted well."
Megan Fisher and Kristen Clausing each went 3-4 to lead the Fairland onslaught. Kelly Curry and Megan Auxier each went 3-5, Kristen Berry 2-2 and Kate Nida 2-5.
Auxier got the win with relief help from Clausing.
Fairland, 12-5, plays at Rock Hill Tuesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
